Follow Friday (#23)

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow
Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read where you meet and follow different bloggers.

Question of the Week: What is your preferred reading format? Hardcover, eBooks, paperback etc?

I prefer print, whether that is hardcover or paperback. Hardbacks usually look nicer, but paperbacks are cheaper and easier to carry around. Though with that said, I guess eReaders are even easier than that! I only got a Kindle because a lot of requests I got were eGalleys, and whilst it is convenient at times, I still prefer print.

So what do you think? Print or eBooks? Leave a comment below, and don't forget to follow via Bloglovin'!

  2. I'm more of an ebook person. At first I hated it, but it was cheaper so I made myself like it, lol.

  3. Hi! :) Good answer by the way. I do still love paperbacks, and always will. I love seeing them, smelling them and being around them. They bring me calm. When e-readers came out I was totally against them, but now? I don't mind so much. It makes my life easier especially when one is reviewing (where highlighting is concerned), but if I've truly loved a book, I will also purchase said book in paperback. I have to own it - physically!

  4. Oh I am the same!! I love me the real book. Hardcovers are pretty but can be heavy to read. Paperbacks are nice because they can fit into purses easily--the mass market ones.

I have a Kindle as well that is used a lot for egalleys and other novellas!

    Lovely answer!

  5. The dust flaps of hardcovers are pretty but such a pain and worse, the book looks naked if you remove it. I agree that paperbacks are better for the people who want functionality in their books.

  7. I prefer hardcovers because I get so annoyed when a paperback comes in the mail dented. Even the smallest dent bothers me so much and I love how hardcovers are harder to damage. New follower via GFC :)

  9. I totally agree with you! Although it is a lot easier to carry around a Kindle instead of hardcovers, I still prefer physical copies to ebooks. There just so pretty! xD

  10. I began reading ebooks when my bookcases started overflowing. I also lie reading self published writers and many don't have a print copy available.
